CrossRC EMO X2 1/8 Brushed/Brushless RTR Scale Crawler
CrossRC EMO X2 1/8 RTR Scale Crawler
The CrossRC EMO X2 is a large-scale 1/8 crawler that combines a competition-inspired SUV body with the heavy-duty EMO X chassis. Its low-centre-of-gravity layout, portal axles, two-speed transmission and independently selectable differential locks provide confident control across rocks, steep climbs and technical trails.
Available with either a high-torque 775 brushed power system or the Hobbywing Fusion 8IGHT FOC brushless system, the X2 can be configured for dependable trail performance or increased power and efficiency.
Detailed Scale SUV Body
The X2 features a thick polycarbonate SUV body with a detailed interior and driver figure. A hidden quick-release body-mounting system provides convenient chassis access without exposed body clips interfering with its scale appearance.
High-toughness front, rear and side protection components help protect the body during trail driving and unexpected impacts.
Brushed and Brushless Options
The 775 Brushed RTR version provides strong torque, predictable throttle response and dependable performance for general crawling and trail driving.
The Brushless RTR version features the Hobbywing Fusion 8IGHT FOC integrated brushless motor and ESC system. Its 1800KV motor supports high-power operation while delivering precise and controlled low-speed response for technical crawling.
Low-Centre-of-Gravity Chassis
The X2 uses a forward-biased, low-centre-of-gravity chassis layout with the battery positioned toward the front of the vehicle. This improves stability and helps maintain front-wheel traction on steep climbs.
The chassis has a factory front-to-rear weight distribution of approximately 52:48 and can be further tuned with compatible front counterweights.
Two-Speed Transmission
A remote-selectable two-speed transmission provides controlled low gearing for technical crawling and a faster gear for trail driving.
The transmission uses metal shifting and transfer gears, a reinforced spur gear and an externally adjustable slipper clutch. The slipper can be adjusted without dismantling the transmission, helping protect the drivetrain from sudden impacts and excessive loads.
Independently Selectable Differential Locks
The front and rear differential locks can be controlled independently from the included transmitter. Drivers can run both differentials open, lock either axle separately or lock both axles for maximum traction.
The full-travel servo-control system is designed to operate without complicated endpoint adjustment, helping protect the shifting and differential-lock servos.
Reinforced Portal Axles
EMO X portal axles increase ground clearance beneath the axle housings while providing additional gear reduction at the wheels.
The reinforced nylon axle housings use metal internal gears and strengthened mounting structures designed to withstand demanding terrain and higher-powered drivetrain configurations.
Trail-Ready Suspension
The X2 uses solid axles with stainless-steel suspension links, a front Panhard bar, rear four-link suspension and a rear balance linkage.
Large-diameter 21 mm CNC aluminum oil-filled shocks provide controlled suspension movement. Threaded adjusters allow ride height and spring preload to be tuned for different terrain and vehicle setups.
Heavy-Duty Drivetrain
Metal transmission gears, CVD driveshafts and metal universal joints provide durable power delivery throughout the drivetrain. High-precision rubber-sealed bearings help reduce friction and support smooth operation.
The X2 rides on lightweight 2.2-inch beadlock wheels fitted with CrossRC COUGAR 136 × 55 mm crawler tires.
Integrated Scale Lighting
The factory-installed multi-mode lighting system includes headlights, turn signals, brake lights, reverse lights, hazard lights and flashing modes.
An auxiliary-light connection is provided for compatible upgrades. The optional roof-mounted light bar is sold separately and is not included with the standard vehicle.
Ready to Run
The EMO X2 arrives assembled and factory painted with the selected power system, steering servo, shifting and differential-lock servos, lighting system, receiver and 6-channel transmitter installed.
A compatible LiPo battery, charger and four AA transmitter batteries are required separately.
