The CrossRC XT4 is a builder-focused 1/10-scale crawler kit designed for enthusiasts who value authentic construction, exceptional scale detail and the freedom to choose their own electronics.

Its standout feature is the highly detailed multi-piece hard-plastic body. Unlike a conventional lightweight polycarbonate shell, the XT4 body incorporates a complete open-cab interior, simulated engine compartment, one-piece roll cage, adjustable seats and an extensive selection of scale accessories.

Underneath the hard body, the XT4 uses CrossRC’s EMO 4×4 chassis platform with a two-speed all-metal transmission, selectable differential locks, straight axles, CNC aluminum shocks and high-mass steel beadlock wheels.

This is an unassembled kit, not an RTR vehicle. The builder must supply and install the electronics required to complete and operate the vehicle.

Highly Detailed Hard-Plastic Body

The XT4’s multi-piece hard-plastic body is the centrepiece of the build. It requires assembly, preparation and painting, allowing the owner to create a clean factory-style finish, a weathered trail vehicle or a completely personalized design.

The open-cab layout includes a detailed dashboard, steering wheel, instrument panel and adjustable front and rear seats. A simulated engine compartment beneath the hood adds another layer of realism rarely found on conventional crawler bodies.

A one-piece protective roll cage, rear scale fuel tank and quick-release full-size spare tire complete the XT4’s distinctive off-road appearance.

Built for the Builder

The kit format gives experienced hobbyists control over the vehicle’s final electronics and performance. The builder can select a motor, ESC, steering servo, auxiliary servos and radio system suited to the intended driving style and budget.

A minimum four-channel radio system is required to operate steering, throttle, two-speed shifting and the differential-lock system. Compatible auxiliary servos are also required for the transmission and differential-lock functions.

Because special-order kit contents may vary by production batch or market, any motor or electronic equipment shown in product photographs should not be assumed to be included unless specifically confirmed by RC Panda Hobbies before ordering.

Two-Speed All-Metal Transmission

The XT4 features an all-metal two-speed transmission, allowing the driver to configure the completed vehicle for controlled low-speed crawling and faster trail driving.

Selectable differential locks provide additional traction when required while allowing more natural steering when unlocked. The operating system requires compatible auxiliary servos selected and installed by the builder.

A complete ABEC-3 ball-bearing set supports smooth drivetrain operation, while the enclosed drivetrain design helps protect internal components from dirt encountered during trail use.

Straight-Axle Trail Performance

Front and rear straight axles give the XT4 a lower, more traditional scale stance. The multi-link solid-axle suspension and all-metal CNC-machined shocks provide articulation and control across rocks, roots and uneven terrain.

High-mass steel beadlock wheels add useful weight low on the chassis and allow the tires to be installed without glue. The 1.9-inch MUD CRAWLER tires provide traction for technical crawling and general trail driving.

Lighting and Scale Details

The XT4 body is designed to accommodate front, rear and instrument lighting. Lighting components supplied with the kit require installation and connection during assembly.

The final appearance and functionality will depend on the builder’s chosen electronics, paintwork and installation.
