CrossRC EMO XX 1/6 Brushed/Brushless RTR Scale Crawler

The CrossRC EMO XX is an ultra-large 1/6-scale 4WD crawler engineered for demanding terrain, high-torque performance and commanding scale presence. Built on a heavy-duty 2 mm stamped-steel frame, it combines portal axles, a remote-selectable two-speed transmission and remotely operated front and rear differential locks.

Available in Rally and Truck body configurations, the EMO XX can be ordered with either a dual-motor brushed power system or a high-output Hobbywing brushless system. Both RTR versions arrive factory assembled with the motor, ESC, servos, lighting system, receiver and 2.4 GHz radio equipment installed.

Brushed RTR Power System

The Brushed RTR version is powered by two high-output 775 brushed motors operating in parallel. Each motor is supported by a Hobbywing QuicRun WP 880 ESC, giving the EMO XX the sustained low-speed torque required for technical crawling, steep climbs and heavy trail use.

The dual Hobbywing 880 system supports 2S–4S LiPo power. Its large front battery compartment provides room for high-capacity battery configurations suitable for this substantial ultra-large-scale platform.

Brushless RTR Power System

The Brushless RTR version uses a Hobbywing EzRun MAX6 150A ESC paired with a Hobbywing 4985 1650KV brushless motor.

Compatible with 3S–6S LiPo power, the brushless system provides greater efficiency, higher wheel speed and strong power delivery while retaining the low-speed control required for technical crawling. It is the recommended configuration for drivers looking for maximum performance from the EMO XX platform.

Two-Speed Transmission and Selectable Differential Locks

The heavy-duty two-speed transmission allows the driver to switch remotely between controlled low-range crawling and a faster gear for open terrain.

Front and rear differential locks are also operated from the transmitter. The driver can unlock the differentials for improved turning or engage either differential when additional traction is needed.

The transmission uses steel-cut and self-lubricating alloy gears designed to withstand the considerable torque and vehicle weight of the EMO XX.

Portal-Axle 4WD Drivetrain

Portal axles increase clearance beneath the axle housings, helping the EMO XX travel over rocks, roots and deeply rutted terrain.

The reinforced 4WD drivetrain includes front steel CVD axle shafts, rear steel straight axle shafts, steel-cut bevel gears and heavy-duty universal-joint driveshafts. Full ball bearings support smooth and reliable operation throughout the drivetrain.

Heavy-Duty Suspension

The suspension combines a front three-link layout with a reinforced Panhard bar and a rear four-link system with a stabilizer link.

Large 10 mm aluminum suspension links provide strength and controlled axle movement. The 26 mm CNC aluminum hydraulic shocks feature adjustable spring preload and up to 40 mm of shock stroke, helping support the vehicle while maintaining articulation across uneven terrain.

High-Voltage Servo System

Steering is handled by a 70 kg 7.4V high-voltage servo powered through an independent BEC system.

Three additional 25 kg high-voltage servos operate the two-speed transmission and the front and rear differential locks. Integrated protection systems help reduce the risk of servo damage caused by excessive current or incorrect operating travel.

Rally and Truck Body Styles

The Rally version features an enclosed scale off-road body with a detailed interior and composite internal roll cage.

The Truck version combines a finished cab with an engineering-plastic rear cargo bed, creating the appearance of a heavy-duty expedition or utility vehicle.

Both body styles use a four-point quick-release mounting system for convenient chassis and battery access.

Special-Order Product

The CrossRC EMO XX is available by special order due to its exceptional size and shipping requirements. The listed price includes freight from the CrossRC factory to Canada, together with applicable Canadian import duties and customs charges.

Free local delivery and customer pickup are available in Calgary. Shipping to other Canadian cities is not included and will be quoted separately based on the actual oversized-freight cost.
