SPECIAL ORDER — ULTRA-LARGE OVERSIZED ITEM

The CrossRC EMO XX2 “Tyrannosaurus” is an enormous 1/5-scale 4WD crawler measuring 1,090 mm long and 416 mm wide. Its imposing size, finished pickup body, functional cargo bed and heavy-duty construction place it far beyond a conventional 1/10 or 1/8 crawler.

Built on a 2.5 mm stamped-steel chassis, the XX2 combines a remote-selectable two-speed transmission, remotely operated front and rear differential locks, full steel-cut drivetrain gears and massive 26 mm CNC aluminum shocks.

Two factory-equipped RTR power configurations are available by special order: Dual-Motor Brushed and Brushless. Both versions arrive assembled with the motor system, ESC, steering servo, auxiliary servos, lighting and 6-channel radio system installed.

The XX2 is an exceptionally large, oversized item. Standard RC vehicle shipping rates do not apply.

Genuine 1/5-Scale Presence

At 1,090 mm long, 416 mm wide and 411 mm high, the XX2 has the physical presence of a small ride-on vehicle.

Its factory-finished polycarbonate pickup body includes detailed scale styling, while the independently moulded nylon cargo bed provides both an authentic appearance and practical carrying space.

Heavy-Duty Steel Chassis

The XX2 is built around a scale ladder-frame chassis stamped from 2.5 mm steel. Reinforced suspension and track-bar mounting points help the chassis withstand the forces generated by the vehicle’s exceptional size, weight and drivetrain torque.

Ten-millimetre aluminum suspension links and steel rear balance links provide a strong and controlled solid-axle suspension system.

Two-Speed Transmission and Remote Differential Locks

The remote-selectable two-speed transmission provides controlled low-range operation for technical terrain and a faster ratio for open trails.

Front and rear differential locks can also be operated remotely. Three factory-installed 25 kg, 7.4V high-voltage servos control the transmission and differential-lock functions.

Full Steel-Cut Drivetrain

The XX2 uses full steel-cut transmission and bevel gears, a steel universal-joint centre driveshaft, steel front CVD shafts and steel rear axle shafts.

A self-balancing slipper mechanism helps protect the drivetrain from sudden loads. ABEC-3 ball bearings are installed throughout the vehicle for smooth and durable operation.

Massive Suspension and Tires

Extra-large 26 mm CNC aluminum hydraulic shocks provide adjustable preload and up to 40 mm of shock travel, giving the XX2 the support and suspension control required by its large-scale chassis.

ROCK BREAKER MT crawler tires feature large, multi-directional tread blocks designed to generate traction across rocks, dirt and loose terrain. Mechanically retained beadlock-style wheels allow the tires to be serviced without gluing.

Dual-Motor Brushed RTR

The Dual-Motor Brushed version uses two high-power 775 brushed motors controlled by two Hobbywing 880 ESCs.

This configuration delivers strong low-speed torque and supports 2S to 4S battery power. It includes a 70 kg high-voltage steering servo, three 25 kg auxiliary servos and a 6-channel 2.4 GHz radio system.

Brushless RTR

The Brushless version is equipped with a Hobbywing 4985 1650KV brushless motor and a Hobbywing 150A ESC supporting 3S to 6S power.

This version provides a powerful and efficient drivetrain suited to the size and weight of the XX2. It also includes a 70 kg high-voltage steering servo, three 25 kg auxiliary servos and a 6-channel 2.4 GHz radio system.
